How It Works

Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled departure time
We ask you to please check in at our ticket office at Eikendal Vineyards at least a half hour before your scheduled departure. Sign in at the ticket office and then enjoy a welcome taster, or you can enjoy fresh coffee and a delicious snack while waiting for your Wine Tractor to arrive. There is also a shuttle available from Cape Town, the shuttle needs to be booked a minimum of 24 hours before the tour. We also offer a celebration cupcake service, where you can pre-order cupcakes made by Spoon Bakery, to be ready for you on the day of your tour, to make a day celebrating your birthday extra special.

Board the Tractor
Board the Wine Tractor for your first stop at either, Grangehurst, Longridge, Avontuure, or do your first tasting of the day at Eikendal vineyards.

Hop-On Hop-Off
Explore some of the finest wine farms in South Africa by hopping on and hopping off the Wine Tractor to move backwards and forwards across the slopes of the Heldeberg mountains.

Enjoy yourself
With a wide range of farms available, you choose your wine tasting experience that suits your mood.
At every stop you get between 65 - 75 minutes to relax and enjoy the wine estate. There is enough time to also grab a snack at one of the many restaurants along the way before the tractor arrives again to take you to the next stop.

Our last stop
Our last tractor returns to Eikendal Vineyards at 18:35 after a fun filled day on the tractor.

Our goal is to deliver value to our client and with that come some rules.

Not pets allowed, only service dogsPlease, no pets are allowed, we wouldn't want the fury friends hurt, and some farms have their own fury friends, horses, chickens, ducks etc. -
No disorderly conductAlthough we are on a wine tasting experience, we ask you to drink responsibly and keep well behaved, any disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and offenders will be removed from the premises. -
Respect other guestsDue to the nature of the shared experience we ask that if you are celebrating to be considerate of other guests. Should you be planing to celebrate a birthday or event, please be respectful of our other guests. -
No wheelchair access, sorryThe Wine Tractors are not catered for the disabled at this point, so please keep that in mind. -
Wine farms are up to youWe provide you a safe and convenient wine tasting Wine Tractor Experience with knowledgable staff. The wine farms, food & tastings you choose are up to you and at your own expenses. -
Indemnity agreementYou will be required to sign an indemnity form before boarding the tractor, we will look after you, but you must also look after yourselves.
