Eikendal Vineyards is a 76-hectare wine farm situated in
the “Golden Triangle” of wine growing, between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. The estate
was founded in 1981 by the Saager family from Zurich, Switzerland, who recognized the
great potential of the area and wasted no time in modernizing the existing vineyards and
establishing the cellar. The Saager family still owns the estate today.

Annandale Wine Estate! This estate is the oldest farm in the Helderberg Valley and has a rich history that dates back to the founding of South Africa. Governor Simon van der Stel granted the title to Jan Wismaar, the property’s first owner, in 1688. The farm was known as Brakelsdal until the early 1800s, when the then owner fell in love with a girl from the Annan River Valley in Scotland, and changed the name of the property accordingly. The farm has retained its unique authenticity as a historical homestead under the guidance of its current proprietor, the famed Springbok rubgy star, Hempies du Toit.
