How It Works

Arrive 30 minutes before
We ask you to please check in at our ticket office at the entrance of Eikendal Wine Estate a half hour before your booking, where you can enjoy fresh coffee and a delicious snack while waiting for your Wine Tractor to arrive.

Board the Tractor
Board the Wine Tractor for your first stop at either, Grangehurst, Longridge, Avontuure or Pink Valley, guided by one of our friendly tour hosts.

Hop-On Hop-Off
Explore some of the finest wine farms in South Africa by hopping on and hopping off the Wine Tractor to move backwards and forwards across the slopes of the Heldeberg mountain range.

We get you there
With a wide range of farms available, you choose your wine tasting experience that suits your mood and budget.
Our service is to transport you safely while you enjoy the spectacular Stellenbosch wine region's farms.

Our last stop
Our last tractor returns to Eikendal Vineyards at 18:00 where you can either continue your adventures through Stellenbosch where you collect your purchased wine from your days adventures and continue.

We recommend pre booking any restaurants in advance you wish to visit to avoid disappointment.
Wine Tractor rules.
Our goal is to deliver value to our client and with that come some rules.
  • Not pets allowed, only service dogs
    Please, no pets are allowed, we wouldn't want the fury friends hurt, and some farms fave their own fury friends, horses, chickens ducks etc.
  • No disorderly conduct
    Although we are on a wine tasting experience, we ask you to drink responsibly and keep well behaved, any disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and removed from the premisses.
  • Not a parties
    Due to the nature of the shared experience we are cannot cater for Birthday parties, Batchelor/et parties, Staff end of year work functions etc.
  • No wheelchair access, sorry
    The Wine Tractors are not catered for the disabled at this point, so please keep that in mind.
  • Wine farms are up to you
    We provide you a safe and convenient Wine Tractor Experience with knowledgable staff, which wine farms, food & tastings are up to you and at your own expenses.
  • Indemnity agreement
    You will be required to sign an indemnity form before boarding the tractor, we will look after you, but you must also look after yourselves.
